Plaza Athénée Chauffeur

Opened in 1913 a few metres from the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, the Plaza Athénée has been for more than a century the reference Palace of Parisian and international high society. Its 154 rooms and suites — including the Royale Suite and the Eiffel Suite with its view of the Tower — host a clientele where couture houses, family offices and heads of state cross paths. The Bar du Plaza, designed by Patrick Jouin, has become an institution. Alain Ducasse au Plaza Athénée holds three Michelin stars. Le Relais Plaza, a listed Art déco brasserie, has served the same clientele since 1936.

The visual identity of the Plaza — ivory façade, red geraniums, blood-red canopy — has become one of the most photographed emblems of Paris. During Fashion Week, the entrance to the Palace turns into an event in itself: photographers, street style, international editors, press officers, model teams. For a chauffeur, that means one thing: absolute discipline of positioning, timing and behaviour, in perfect coordination with the Palace valets.

Avenue Montaigne tolerates a short drop-off under the Plaza canopy, supervised directly by the head valet. Our chauffeur announces in advance the licence plate and the expected guest, waits for the free slot, opens the kerbside door and hands the vehicle to the valet for immediate repositioning. The guest experience tolerates no waiting, no negotiation with the valet, no idle time on the pavement.

During Fashion Week and Haute Couture, avenue Montaigne is temporarily turned into a pedestrian corridor at certain hours, especially during Dior and Chanel shows. Our desk receives Prefecture bulletins, anticipates closures and proposes bypass routes via rue François 1er, rue de Marignan or avenue Franklin Roosevelt depending on real-time constraints.

For particularly high-profile arrivals we coordinate a discreet rear drop-off, on avenue Montaigne or rue Clément Marot depending on the event, always with the agreement of Palace Security. Contractual NDA, unmarked vehicle if needed, single chauffeur over the entire stay.

Our Plaza Athénée clientele includes international UHNW families in residence for the Paris season, couture houses hosting their VIC clients during presentations, exposed celebrities in town for a show or a cultural event, and corporate delegations hosted by the Palace for top-tier seminars. We work in direct contact with the Clefs d'Or concierge, Guest Relations and the press attachés of the maison partners.

For family offices in residence in the Royale or Eiffel Suite, we deploy a recurring set-up: dedicated chauffeur for the duration of the stay, a second chauffeur for long Couture days, a vehicle reserved nearby at all times, integration with family-management tools. Your personal shoppers, governesses, private secretaries and nurses receive the same standard.

Our executive offering activates as soon as a stay combines Couture and corporate agenda: M&A meetings at La Défense, board meetings in Tour First, signing dinners at the starred restaurants of the 8th. Same chauffeur, same vehicle, same standard of discretion from one universe to the next.

The Paris Couture season is lived from the Plaza Athénée: Dior and Chanel shows, private presentations at Saint Laurent, Valentino, Givenchy, Loro Piana, VIC lunches with press attachés, gala dinners at the Petit Palais or Musée Galliera, collection launches. The chauffeur strings each step together flawlessly, waits nearby, anticipates road closures and coordinates with the maisons' security teams.

Avenue Montaigne, rue François 1er, rue de Marignan, avenue George V, rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré and Place Vendôme form a tight perimeter we can cover in minutes depending on time of day. For a Couture client, this is the guarantee of three ateliers, two fittings, a private lunch and a gala dinner without a single rupture in service.

For dinners and evening events (Petit Palais, Musée d'Orsay, Hôtel de Ville, Crillon, Ritz, Bristol), we coordinate simultaneous arrivals of several vehicles, staggered departures at the end of the evening and discreet returns to the Plaza Athénée. A single TSPVIP coordinator runs the whole set-up.

From the Plaza Athénée we operate daily transfers to Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG), Paris-Orly and Paris-Le Bourget. The route is selected dynamically depending on time: place de l'Alma then A1 or A14 to CDG, Pont de l'Alma then A6a to Orly, northern périphérique to Le Bourget.

For private-jet arrivals at Le Bourget we coordinate directly with your FBO (Signature, Universal Aviation, Dassault Falcon Service, Jetex, Advanced Air Support) for authorised planeside collection, then an arrival under the Plaza canopy with prior notification of Guest Relations. No break in service between tarmac and suite.
